Dr Cathy Treadaway is Reader in Creative Practice at Cardiff School of Art and Design, Cardiff Metropolitan University and visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bath.  Her research examines the ways digital technology can support creative practice and she works with artists, designers and industry to investigate the development and use of digital processes and tools.

Cathy’s research projects include Hand e-Craft, Shorelines, Present and HAPTIC and she is a member of the DIGIT research group and a founder member of CARIAD which is part of WIRAD.
